Online Post Cancer Treatment Peer Support Group

Life after Cancer facilitate an online peer support group for adults who have finished cancer treatment, to connect, support, listen to each other and share their experience of cancer.

In a monthly peer support discussion-based session, Life after Cancer facilitates meaningful conversations about post-cancer challenges. Each session includes a guiding question to shape the discussion. The topic changes each month.

​The aim of our Life after Cancer support groups is to increase mental and social wellbeing and reduce isolation after finishing cancer treatment. â€‹Find out more about the benefits of attending peer support groups.

Who is this for? This is for anyone who has finished cancer treatment, is looking to increase their mental wellbeing and meet others who have also experienced cancer.

​

The aim: The aim is to increase physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing and reduce isolation. The support members receive reduces the risk of serious mental distress and helps to build a positive life after their cancer experience.

​

Our facilitator: Groups are facilitated by trained coaches who have personal experience of cancer.

Spaces are limited: Capacity is limited. Please sign up and you will receive an email with a link to Zoom a few hours before the group starts.

Free Space: Please select the free space option if you are unable to make a donation. If all the free spots on Eventbrite are taken, and you're unable to afford a space but still wish to join us, please reach out by email to support@life-aftercancer.co.uk with your name and the event you'd like to attend. We're here to support you.

Cost: Donations help support the continuation of Life after Cancer's services. Free tickets available thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund.​
