Our Story

Life after Cancer was created so no one has to face life after treatment alone.

Founded by Steph after experiencing first-hand how difficult it can be to adjust once treatment ends, she realised the world was a very different colour after cancer. The hospital appointments may have stopped, but the challenges remained.

Many people are left navigating fear of recurrence, fatigue, changes in body image, uncertainty about the future, loss of identity, difficulties returning to work, shifting relationships, and the loneliness of feeling like others just don’t get it.

Our whole team has lived through cancer. Everyone’s journey is different, but that shared experience means we truly understand the challenges of life after treatment.

That’s why we offer free, welcoming spaces where people can connect, feel understood, and begin rebuilding their lives with confidence and hope. Cancer shaped our lives, so we created this space to support others in shaping theirs.
