Yoga
What to expect
In collaboration with LMJP Yoga, we hold a space for 10 people who have experienced cancer to come together for a yoga class in Walthamstow, East London.
1 hour, once a month.
A little info about the teacher: Lara's yogic approach is all about community; bringing together people of all ages, backgrounds, shapes and abilities in a safe environment, to share the incredible, calming and nourishing benefits of this ancient practice. In her community classes, students flow through simple yet delicious postures that are so beneficial in the modern day, always-connected world, allowing the body and mind to feel free. Lara's future plans are focused on using yoga to help people and their communities; whether that be minority groups, disadvantaged children, teenagers or adults and those with physical and learning difficulties.
The capacity is 10. First come, first served. Please bring a blanket and wear anything that you can move around in and feel comfortable wearing. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
In order to cover venue costs, we kindly ask each participant for a small donation, thank you.
