Help shape the future of Life after Cancer as we become a charity and prepare for our next stage of growth.
The opportunity
As our first Chair of Trustees, you'll help build a strong, ambitious Board, work closely with our CEO and play a key role in helping us reach and support more people after cancer across the UK.
About Life after Cancer
What began as a support group for 12 people who had finished cancer treatment in an East London café has grown into an organisation that's supported more than 8,000 people across the UK. Our vision is a future where no one faces life after cancer alone.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced, ambitious leader with sound judgement, an entrepreneurial approach and the connections to help us grow. Previous Chair experience isn't essential.

Remuneration
​
Voluntary, reasonable expenses paid
Time commitment
​
Approximately 3-4 days per month during the initial establishment phase, with the commitment expected to reduce as the Board becomes established
