In person events including our fundraising hike, retreats and wellbeing days
Our community events are moments in the year where we come together in person around life after cancer.
They offer time to connect with others who understand, spend time together and create memories along the way.
Annual fundraising hike
Walking together for life after cancer
Each year, our community comes together for a fundraising hike set in a scenic UK landscape. It’s a shared day of walking with purpose, bringing together people navigating life after cancer alongside friends, family and supporters.
The hike is as much about connection as it is about the walk itself. People take part for different reasons - to challenge themselves, to do something meaningful together or to be part of raising awareness of life after cancer. Some come as a team, others arrive on their own and are warmly welcomed.
By walking together, we help shine a light on the reality of life after cancer and support the continuation of our work. Along the way, the day creates shared moments, conversation and a sense of moving forward together.
Below you’ll find more information about our next hike, including the route, distance and how to get involved.

Málaga retreat
Pause, reflect and plan your year in the warmth of Spain.
Our Málaga retreat is for adults post cancer treatment who are ready to spend time thinking about what comes next.
It offers a few days away from everyday life, in a warm setting, alongside others who understand life after cancer. There’s a balance of guided sessions and open time, creating space to slow down, focus on yourself and begin shaping the year ahead.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. The retreat is about taking time, being together and leaving with greater clarity about what you want next.
You’ll find full details about the Málaga retreat below, including dates, what’s included and how to take part.
Wellbeing days
A day to slow down, connect and spend time together
Our wellbeing days are relaxed, in person days in London for adults post cancer treatment.
They usually take place outdoors and bring together gentle movement, time to walk, moments for journaling and space for conversation. Some parts are guided, others are open, with room to take part in a way that feels right for you.
These days are about spending time together, being outside and sharing a day with others who understand life after cancer.
There’s no pressure to do everything, and no expectation to share more than you want to.
